CREATIVE DIRECTOR – Angry Associates

2001-2007

 

Angry Associates was the first branded agency that specialized in action sports & youth culture. A branded entity which appealed to consumers on its own, Angry brought their clients cultural validity in addition to delivering great creative.

 

Managed / creative directed numerous “associates” (designers, illustrators & photographers) to create multiple successful lines/projects for Atomic Snowboards, Helly Hansen, Adio Footwear and more.

 

Key Projects:

Atomic Snowboards

– Brand guidance & creative direction for four seasons, turning an Austrian ski racing brand into a viable, “cool” snowboard brand in the North American market.

– 10x sales increase & 6x market share increase allowed Atomic to develop a line directed towards free ski consumers.

– Set design styles for critical products, differentiating each to appeal to the desires of various end consumers.

– Managed, mentored & directed multiple designers, illustrators & photographers to produce 50+ piece product line, catalogs & POP each season.
